De FANTEC 3DFHDL kan alle film-, muziek- en foto-formaten vanaf de ingebouwde* harde schijf, een door middel van USB aangesloten harde schijf of een locatie binnen uw netwerk afspelen.

Play 3D movies in real Full HD. The FANTEC 3DFHDL media player has a HDMI 1.4 interface and supports all common 3D formats like Frame-Packing, 3D MVC plus 3D SbS (side by side) and 3D TaB (top and bottom).
Next to this all popular HD video formats like: MKV (H.264), AVCHD, MOV, M2TS, MTS, TS and many other formats as well as 3D and 2D Bluray ISO files with menu (BDMV without Java) are supported.
Of course the player can also playback SD video formats for example: DVD (with DVD menu), AVI, MPEG, VOB, MP4, MPG, TS, WMV, DAT and ISO files.
In the area of audio and surround sound the player is able to handle Dolby Digital and DTS sound up to 7.1 channel audio in HD audio or downmix.
By the use of the colour LCD display on the front side of FANTEC 3DFHDL media player you can control the player without TV, e.g. for playback of music or internet radio.
The wide ranged functions of the FANTEC 3DFHDL media player includes many more features, for example, the device allows you by the use of a suitable app (e.g. iMediaShare) to stream movies, music and pictures directly from your smartphone or tablet PC to your TV. In this case the FANTEC 3DFHDL media player is a kind of a bridge between the smartphone or tablet PC and your TV.
Furthermore the FANTEC 3DFHDL media player is equipped with a GIGABIT network port, which allows you to exchange data between your PC, NAS device and the media player. You also can stream movies, music and pictures over UPNP or NAS function. With the integrated internet applications it?s for example possible to listen to thousands of internet radio stations, watch YouTube videos, subscribe Podcasts or view photos via Flickr.
For fast file transfer can you connect the FANTEC 3DFHDL media player directly via USB 3.0 to your PC.
An Android beta version is in February 2012 as download available. This allows you to install Android apps or connect mouse and keyboard to the media player in order to browse in the internet with the Android web browser.

Geweldig apparaat. Prima opvolger van mijn dune, die op zich ook prima was maar geen echte 3d-iso aankon. Plug & play. Gebruik hem liggend en het scherm is keurig meegedraaid. Fan hoor ik niet.
Speelt alles af wat ik hem aanbiedt. Enige nadeel is dat de hoek waarin de AB gebruikt kan worden redelijk beperkt is. Zit je te ver opzij dan wordt het signaal niet gezien. Her draaien van de player lost dit echter op. HDD inbouwen was goed te doen. Moest alleen wel opnieuw geformatteerd worden.
Levering is prima verlopen.

Na de aankoop van mijn nieuwe TV (LG47LM860V), ook maar een 3D mediaspeler aangeschaft.
Pluspunten:
- Speelt werkelijk alles probleemloos af. (Om te testen meteen Avatar BD50 3D afgespeeld)
- Duidelijk menu
- Handige apps, zoals jukebox, youtube, etc.
Minpunten:
- Ik had zelf een popcorn a300 staan en deze was met de jukebox functie wel stukken beter. Hierbij kreeg je tal van afbeeldingen, achtergronden, ruime samenvatting en vele referenties. Bij de fantec moet je het met 1 afbeelding doen en een kleine samenvatting van de film. (popcorn haalt z'n info ook van imbd en deze van themoviedb.org).

Geweldige Mediaplayer, speelt tot nu toe alles af naar wens.
Veel mogelijkheden en gebruiksvriendelijk.
De service van Mobile-Harddisk is geweldig goed, apparaat de volgende dag al in huis. Snelle reactie's per mail en duidelijke antwoorden.

Mooi apparaat, als je hem gekanteld neerlegd is het jammer dat het schermpje niet verdraaibaar is, of uitschakelbaar. (zover ik weet natuurlijk).
Ook is de software redelijk snel, lijkt op die van mn vorige AcRyan, alleen is deze 100x stabieler en wat sneller.
Nas werkt ook prima en haal op een 150mbit lijn binnen mn netwerk rond de 2mb/s . Ook FTP werkt prima.
De software zou mn gebruikersnamen enzo wel mogen onthouden, soms nogal een typewerk als je moet inloggen via je pc e.d.
Een paar dagen in bezit
