De Hikvision DS-7616NI-K2/P8 is een 4K NVR en voorzien van 16 PoE inputs. Nog nooit was IP-CCTV zo eenvoudig, de camera's worden direct op de NVR aangesloten zonder tussenkomst van extra netwerk apparatuur. De NVR voorziet de camera's automatisch van de juiste IP adressen. Hiermee is de installatie en configuratie vergelijkbaar met een analoge DVR. Je heeft slechts een netwerk aansluiting richting jouw router in te stellen, en de NVR is klaar voor gebruik.
Elke PoE uitgang kan over maximaal 250m zijn signaal en voeding sturen. Je gebruikt hiervoor simpelweg CAT6 kabels.
Deze 4K NVR maakt gebruik van H.265+ codering om de bandbreedte en het opslaggebruik drastisch te verminderen. De NVR heeft ruimte voor twee harde schijven van max 6TB elk
