The Foscam G4EP (H264 & 4 Megapixel) is an integrated PoE IP camera solution for outdoor use with weatherproof housing. This camera combines high quality digital video through a CMOS sensor (incl. 20! Meter night vision, through 30 infrared LEDs) with network connectivity and a powerful internal web server to transfer clear video images to the desktop anywhere in your local network or via the internet.
The video images are sent at 20 fps speed on the LAN/WAN using hardware H264 compression technology.
The resolution is 2304x1536 (2K) at 4M pixels. The Foscam G4EP camera is based on the TCP/IP standard. Through an internet browser you can set the Foscam and later also view the images and possibly record.
You can use the Foscam G4EP for observation of your home, company, office etc. Alarm notification with photos to an email address or FTP server with motion detection can easily be set.
